SVC Seoul (Startup Venture Campus Seoul), the premier strategic hub for the globalization of Korean startups, will officially open near Hongik University (Hongdae) Station this June, marking a significant milestone in the global startup ecosystem.

■ A Strategic Gateway for 'In-and-Out' Global Startup Exchange

Spearheaded by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), SVC Seoul is more than a co-working space; it is a multi-dimensional business platform where global investment and innovation converge. The center serves as a strategic base for domestic startups venturing abroad (Outbound) while facilitating a soft landing for international startups entering the Korean market (Inbound). By establishing a vibrant innovation cluster in the heart of Hongdae, SVC Seoul aims to bridge the gap between the local ecosystem and the global tech industry.

■ Finalization of Resident Startups and Expansion of Global Membership

SVC Seoul recently completed the selection of approximately 30 resident companies following a rigorous evaluation process. These startups, chosen for their high potential in international markets, will receive intensive support to refine their localization strategies. Furthermore, SVC Seoul is expanding its reach by recruiting around 150 ‘Extended Membership’ companies. This initiative ensures that a wider range of startups can benefit from global infrastructure, expert advisory vouchers, and open innovation programs, fostering a massive community of over 180 innovative teams.

■ Driving Growth through Specialized Global Partnerships

The core strength of SVC Seoul lies in its organic collaboration with specialized partner firms. PACEMAKERS(Global Accelerator), selected as one of the key partners, will deploy a dedicated team of experts including customs attorneys, CPAs, and VCs to drive tangible results. Through its 'Global Deep-Tech Performance-Chain Program,' PACEMAKERS provides sophisticated Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and facilitates cross-border investment matching and international networking.

Promising resident companies such as Millennials Works, an AI-driven character creation firm, are set to benefit from this robust support system. By combining SVC Seoul’s global infrastructure with PACEMAKERS’ expert consulting, Millennial Works aims to accelerate its expansion into the North American and global markets. With its grand opening in June, SVC Seoul is poised to become a world-class business hub representing Asia's innovative spirit.
